"Theory of Victory"... NATO's new strategy to confront Russia

Brussels (Agencies): Bloomberg reported that NATO is drafting a strategy for a “quick victory” in the event of a conflict with Russia, involving the use of forces on its eastern flank, drones, and AI-guided systems. According to the agency, citing a non-classified version of the document, General Alexus Grynkewich, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) of NATO’s Allied Command Operations, is working on what is termed a “quick victory” strategy for the alliance in the event of a potential military conflict with Russia, dubbed “Victory Theory.” According to the agency, Grynkewich will present the document in Poland on October 12. It is expected to clarify how the alliance intends to respond in the event of an incursion into NATO territory. Colonel Martin O’Donnell, a representative of General Grynkewich, stated: “SACEUR’s Victory Theory is simple: maintain NATO’s superiority.” He added that “in the face of an unstable and complex global security environment, NATO must now prepare the conditions for deterrence and, if necessary, for achieving victory in the event of an attack.” Bloomberg, citing the document, noted that NATO is expected to use land units and other assets stationed on its eastern flank to halt any incursion.
