Salman Al-Sabah Inspects High School Students Suffering from Asphyxiation

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah visited the female students receiving medical care after they suffered asphyxiation incidents at a secondary school, to check on their condition and assess the level of medical services provided to them, immediately upon receiving the report. In a press statement, the Ministry of Health said that Sheikh Al-Sabah, during his visit, reviewed the medical teams’ follow-up of the cases and listened to a briefing on the care and measures taken, emphasizing the importance of continuing to provide all necessary health services and mobilizing available resources to ensure the students’ care and follow-up according to the medical assessment of each case. The statement clarified that Sheikh Al-Sabah directed the relevant health facilities and medical teams to continue monitoring and caring for the cases, providing the highest standard of healthcare, while maintaining coordination with the Ministry of Education and competent authorities. The ministry confirmed its continued follow-up of the cases in coordination with the relevant parties, wishing the students full health and well-being.
