Gulf States Set Record with $161 Billion in Remittances Abroad!

Data from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Statistical Center showed that the GCC countries collectively recorded the highest global value of remittances sent by expatriate workers, totaling approximately $161 billion in 2025, representing a 13.6% increase compared to 2024, and an increase of about $19 billion.
