Kuwait: Saudi Security is an Integral Part of Our Security and GCC Security
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and outrage over the Houthi militia’s targeting of an electrical facility serving the Noble Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed its firm rejection of these cowardly and despicable hostile attacks against civilian infrastructure, which constitute a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty, a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law, and a provocation of Muslims’ sentiments worldwide, as well as a serious escalation in the violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. Kuwait renewed its absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia, standing by its side and supporting all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents on its territory, emphasizing that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
