Kuwait's streets... under treatment
The Ministry of Public Works announced the continuation of fundamental road maintenance works under new contracts on several highways and areas across various governorates of the country. In a statement, the ministry specified that the maintenance works cover a number of major roads, including the Abdali Road, Sabiya Road, King Fahd Road, King Faisal Road, the Fourth Ring Road, and the Seventh Ring Road, in addition to several roads and streets in residential areas.
It noted that maintenance works in the Ahmadi Governorate cover eight areas, including all sections of Al-Mahbula, Jabir Al-Ali, Al-Raqqa, Abu Hulaifa, Hudaia, Al-Munaqf, Al-Uqayla, and Al-Wafra residential area. The Ministry of Public Works further indicated that fundamental maintenance works in the Hawalli Governorate also encompass eight sections, including Al-Jabriya, Al-Salmiya, Mubarak Al-Abdullah, Al-Sadiq, Qasr Al-Bayan, Mushref, Salwa, and Bayan.
In Mubarak Al-Kabeer, the ministry clarified that its works cover seven areas, including maintenance in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Al-Masail, Al-Qarin, Al-Qasour, Abu Futeira, Al-Funaitis, and Al-Adan. In the capital, the works cover areas such as Al-Mirqab, Al-Fayhaa, Al-Nuzha, Al-Shuyukh residential area, Abdullah Al-Salem suburb, and Al-Shamiya.
Maintenance works continue in Farwaniya, according to the ministry’s statement, covering areas including Al-Aridiyah residential area, West Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Khaitan, Ashibea, Al-Ruhab, Al-Rabiaa, Sabah Al-Nasser, and Al-Rayyan. These are accompanied by fundamental maintenance works in several areas of the Jahra Governorate, including Saad Al-Abdullah, Al-Nuaim, Al-Naseem, and Al-Salibiya.
These efforts are part of the Ministry of Public Works’ initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the road network across various governorates, improve the level of traffic services, and address damaged sections of roads in accordance with approved maintenance programs.
