Al-Mudhaf: Overcame a Difficult Phase

Kuwaiti shooter and champion Khaled Al-Mutawa expressed his great joy at winning two gold medals in the individual and team events in the trap shooting competition at the Asian Games, dedicating this achievement to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled. He extended his gratitude to the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, the Kuwait Olympic Committee, the officials and staff of the Kuwait Shooting Federation, and all those who supported him during the tournament. Al-Mutawa explained that his emotional reaction after the victory stemmed from overcoming a difficult phase and implementing a specialized preparation plan devised by the technical staff to restore him to the top level following a previous setback. He noted that intense focus during shooting, along with ignoring the pressures and challenging weather conditions, were key to securing the tournament’s outcome before its conclusion, crowning his efforts with the individual gold medal he had awaited for nearly two decades.
