Crown Prince returns to the country.. sends letter of thanks to Swiss President

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, and the official delegation accompanying him arrived in the homeland, coming from Switzerland, following the conclusion of his official visit to the capital city of Bern. His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, sent a message of thanks to the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, the text of which read: “I am pleased, at the conclusion of my official visit to your friendly country and my participation in the official ceremony held to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Switzerland, to express, on behalf of myself and the members of the accompanying delegation, my deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation for the warm reception and great hospitality we experienced throughout the visit. I wish to highly commend the considerable efforts made by you and your esteemed government in organizing this distinguished celebration, which embodied the depth of bilateral relations characterized over many decades by fruitful cooperation, mutual understanding, and growing positive momentum. These ties were further strengthened by your gracious visit to the State of Kuwait last February, which received great attention and patronage from His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard him. We renew our firm commitment to elevating our historic ties to broader and more comprehensive horizons, and our aspiration to continue working with you in ways that serve our common interests and keep pace with the aspirations of our peoples toward a bright and promising future. I pray for Switzerland continued progress and prosperity, and extend to you my sincerest wishes for good health and complete well-being.”
His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, also sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Republic of Botswana, Duma Boko, conveying his sincere congratulations on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day, and praying for his continued health and well-being.
He also sent a message of condolence to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, conveying his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies for the deaths of several members of the Kazakh Armed Forces and injuries to others, following a drowning incident that occurred during military exercises on the coast of the Caspian Sea. His Highness prayed to Almighty God to have mercy on the victims and forgive them, and to grant the injured a swift recovery.
