First Deputy PM: Organize and Develop the Labor Market

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, who also serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the Authority’s work and enhancing the level of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers, in line with the state’s direction toward reforming public sector work and improving performance efficiency. During his chairmanship of the board meeting of the Public Authority for Manpower yesterday, Al-Yousef stressed the necessity of continuing to implement development plans and programs, thereby supporting the Authority’s efforts to regulate Kuwait’s labor market and strengthening its capacity to carry out its duties and serve the various stakeholders in the market. He underscored the importance of developing work mechanisms and improving service quality, which would contribute to enhancing institutional performance efficiency and achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives. He also emphasized the importance of reinforcing principles of governance and transparency in administrative and financial operations, and of continuing to develop work mechanisms to bolster the Authority’s role in regulating the labor market and protecting the rights of its stakeholders. For its part, the Public Authority for Manpower reaffirmed its ongoing efforts to develop its institutional framework and services, enhance performance efficiency, and improve service quality, in order to support labor market stability and strengthen the effectiveness of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers.
