This achievement adds to the developmental projects undertaken by the Diwan of the Amir, including the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Cultural Center, the Bayt Al-Bahrain Palace Museum, and the Kuwait City Motorsports City. These projects, spanning diverse fields, share a common goal: serving society, enhancing the quality of life, and meeting the aspirations of citizens and all residents of the State of Kuwait.
These landmarks are part of an ambitious urban renaissance that provides creators and the public with a modern environment befitting Kuwait’s history and future aspirations. These achievements have been realized thanks to the wise vision and sound guidance of His Highness the Amir, and his support for national projects, embodying his steadfast approach to elevating the nation’s capabilities.
Kuwaiti youth hold a special place in His Highness’s attention, as he instills in them confidence, encourages initiative, creativity, and responsibility, believing in their role in shaping the future. Under this wise leadership, we continue to work with determination and resolve to realize His Highness’s aspirations, strengthen Kuwait’s presence, and elevate its cultural and civilizational standing regionally and internationally.

National Identity
A documentary film was then screened, showcasing the cultural centers affiliated with the Diwan of the Amir, highlighting their prominent cultural and civilizational facilities and landmarks, and their role in preserving national heritage and enhancing the cultural landscape of Kuwait. The film also featured the programs and activities offered, which contribute to highlighting national identity, introducing Kuwait’s history and civilizational legacy, and showcasing its distinction in the cultural and artistic field.
Subsequently, Ms. Anwar Ahmad Al-Yatama, Chairperson of the Supervision, Management, and Follow-up Committee for the third phase of the Martyr’s Garden, delivered a speech, the text of which is as follows:
"We welcome you with the warmest greetings. We gather today on a distinguished national and cultural occasion: the opening of the third phase of the Martyr’s Garden. We celebrate a new achievement added to Kuwait’s civilizational journey and a new cultural and artistic landmark: the Al-Sour Theater. This achievement takes us toward the future, rooted in our heritage and national identity, and serves as a place where Kuwait’s memory meets its present and the aspirations of future generations.
As we celebrate this achievement, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the prominent artists, stars, all participants in this national presentation, the working teams, government entities, and participating institutions for their significant efforts in making this national occasion a success. We also express our heartfelt thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to our partners in this major national celebration: National Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Al-Shaya Group, Ooredoo Kuwait, and Boustani Al-Yousifi Company, in recognition of their generous initiatives and active contributions to producing this celebration, and in appreciation of their role as partners in the success of this major national and cultural event.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful aspects of this occasion is that the Al-Sour Theater begins its artistic journey with a production bearing its name: the major national theatrical performance 'Al-Sour,' which evokes the epic of Kuwait’s walls across generations, embodying values of unity, solidarity, loyalty to the nation, and unity around wise leadership.
May God protect Kuwait and perpetuate upon it the blessings of security, safety, and stability under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. May He perpetuate upon our beloved homeland the path of goodness, giving, progress, and prosperity.
Artistic Performance
A group of prominent artists and stars presented the national celebratory artistic performance 'Al-Sour,' which depicted through its artistic and acrobatic tableaux key moments in Kuwait’s history and national journey, evoking values of cohesion, loyalty, and belonging to the nation. It highlighted the innate spirit of mutual support and solidarity among the people and heroes, particularly at the forefront during crises, and their unity around wise leadership, as well as the enduring national legacy passed down through generations.
A commemorative gift was presented to His Highness’s representative on this occasion. Following the ceremony, His Highness’s representative toured the third phase of the Martyr’s Garden, inspecting the external and internal facilities, which include cultural, tourist, and recreational areas, as well as commercial projects and logistical services within the garden. His Highness’s representative departed the venue with the same warmth and respect with which he was received."
