Al-Yousef: Developing institutional performance and enhancing work efficiency

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the Authority’s work and enhancing the level of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers, in line with the state’s direction toward developing public sector work and improving performance efficiency. This came during his chairing of the Authority’s Board of Directors meeting yesterday, attended by board members, where the meeting discussed several agenda items and reviewed recent developments, plans, and programs aimed at developing institutional performance and strengthening the efficiency of the labor system.

Emphasizing the need to continue implementing development plans and programs, Sheikh Al-Yousef stressed that these efforts support the Authority’s work in regulating Kuwait’s labor market and enhancing its capacity to carry out its duties and serve the various stakeholders in the market. He also underscored the importance of developing work mechanisms and improving service levels, which contribute to raising institutional performance efficiency and achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of reinforcing governance and transparency principles in administrative and financial operations, and continuing to develop work mechanisms that enhance the Authority’s role in regulating the labor market and protecting the rights of its stakeholders.

The Authority confirmed its ongoing efforts to develop its institutional framework and services, improve performance efficiency, and enhance service quality, thereby supporting labor market stability and strengthening the effectiveness of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers.
