Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, held talks with Jarno Siriala, Deputy Minister for International Trade Affairs of the Republic of Finland, on key issues of mutual interest. The General Staff issued a press statement saying that the meeting took place during Lt. Gen. Al-Sharhan’s reception of the Finnish Deputy Minister for International Trade Affairs, during which they discussed areas of military cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop such cooperation to serve shared interests. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister of Defense Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Mushal, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Kuwait, Juha Mustonen, and several senior commanding officers of the Army.
