Saudi Crown Prince and UAE Vice President Discuss Regional Developments

Riyadh (Agencies): Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks in Riyadh yesterday with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, on the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and developments in the region. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Crown Prince, while the Crown Prince entrusted him with his greetings to the UAE President.

Earlier, Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed in Riyadh during a visit that underscores the depth of bilateral ties. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides discussed, during a fraternal meeting in Riyadh, the brotherly relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields, in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and brings benefits to their fraternal peoples.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed’s visit to Saudi Arabia comes in response to an invitation from Prince Khalid bin Salman. The visit reflects the strength of the shared ties uniting the Kingdom and the UAE, both at the leadership and people levels, as it reinforces the historic bilateral relations, fosters a unified Gulf stance in the face of regional and international challenges, and safeguards common interests.
