"Direct Investment" and "Swiss Global"... Supporting Economic Opportunities and Mutual Interests

Yesterday, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and President Guy Parmelin of the friendly Swiss Confederation, a ceremony was held at the Länggasse Palace in Bern, the Swiss capital, to sign a memorandum of understanding on promoting direct investment between the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Swiss Global Enterprise. The signing took place within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between Kuwait and Switzerland.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Kuwaiti side by Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of KDIPA, and on behalf of the Swiss side by Magali Herro, Chief Executive Officer for Investment Promotion and a member of the Executive Board of Swiss Global Enterprise, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

This memorandum reflects the commitment of Kuwait and Switzerland to develop frameworks for economic and investment cooperation and to enhance partnership in areas of mutual interest, thereby contributing to supporting direct investment opportunities, achieving mutual benefits, and consolidating the distinguished relations between the two countries.
