The Municipality has reaffirmed its continued enforcement of its supervisory role in removing encroachments on state-owned land in the Farwaniya Governorate, as part of its “Kuwait is More Beautiful Without Encroachments” campaign.

Mohammed Al-Jalawi, a member of the central team at the Municipality Director General’s Office, stated in a press comment during an inspection tour in the Sabah Al-Nasser area that the Municipality’s message is clear: the campaign will continue to remove all old and new encroachments. He added that field teams conduct periodic monitoring campaigns for any violations of state property across all governorates to curb unsightly views and the accumulation of waste in residential areas.

He emphasized that the Municipality’s primary objective is to safeguard the public safety of residents in these areas, noting that field teams operate according to carefully planned strategies designed for implementation across all governorates.

He reported that supervisory teams identified and removed, yesterday, an unlicensed structure erected on main streets in one of the squares in the Sabah Al-Nasser residential area, without adhering to the setbacks designated by the Municipality. He clarified that the removed structure encroached by up to 25 meters beyond the property boundaries, serving as an example of the types of violations monitored by our teams.
