Al-Faleh: Enhancing Agricultural Production Efficiency

State Minister for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, affirmed Kuwait’s interest in adopting modern solutions and technologies that contribute to enhancing agricultural production efficiency, rationalizing the use of water and resources, and supporting the food security system, thereby achieving sustainable development goals. This statement came during a press interview following her meeting with Yuo Mostonen, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Kuwait, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries in the fields of sustainability, environmental protection, food security, and modern technologies in the agricultural sector. The meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest and the opportunities available to benefit from Finnish expertise and experiences in supporting sustainable practices, and leveraging technology and innovation to develop the agricultural sector and improve resource efficiency. Minister Al-Faleh emphasized the importance of expanding international cooperation and exchanging knowledge and expertise in sectors related to sustainability, particularly in light of global challenges associated with climate change, food security, and the preservation of natural resources. For his part, Ambassador Mostonen expressed his anticipation of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise between Finland and the State of Kuwait in areas of mutual interest, especially sustainability, environment, technology, and innovation. Both sides affirmed the importance of enhancing dialogue to explore practical cooperation opportunities and fields that contribute to developing the partnership and exchanging expertise between the two countries.
