Social Affairs Minister: Immediate Maintenance of the 'Juvenile Care' Building

Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, has directed the implementation of immediate measures to maintain the Juvenile Care Administration building and address all observations and needs without delay, ensuring the provision of a safe and suitable environment for juveniles and enhancing the quality of services provided to them. This directive came during an inspection visit by Al-Huwail to the Juvenile Care Administration, to personally review operational progress, assess the administration’s needs, and evaluate the condition of the building and its facilities. She toured various facilities and reviewed the required maintenance works.

In a press statement, Al-Huwail emphasized the importance of upgrading facility efficiency and improving the work environment and services provided to juveniles, stressing the necessity of continuous follow-up and coordination among relevant authorities to ensure the swift completion of maintenance works and resolution of existing issues. During the tour, she listened to briefings from officials on operational mechanisms, services, and programs provided to juveniles. She also discussed key needs and observations related to the building, directing that maintenance works be followed up on and necessary measures be taken urgently.

Al-Huwail underscored the continuation of field visits to sectors under the Ministry’s purview, aimed at monitoring performance levels and directly identifying needs, and taking appropriate actions to contribute to service development and improve the care environment provided to juveniles.
