UK: Russia and Putin Pose the "Greatest Threat" to Our Security

British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting described Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin as posing the greatest threat to the country’s security, warning that the United Kingdom faces a significant risk of war breaking out. Streeting said, “We have a war on our continent. We have a Russian president with imperial ambitions who is constantly testing the UK’s and NATO’s defensive capabilities and probing the strength of our alliance.” He added, “Therefore, the alarming reality is that we face a greater risk of war than at any time in my life.”
