Crown Prince Arrives in Switzerland for Official Visit

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and the official delegation accompanying him arrived yesterday morning at Zurich International Airport on the occasion of his official visit to Bern, the capital of the Swiss Confederation. Greeting His Highness upon arrival at the airport were Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, Yousuf Abdul Samad; Ambassador Najib Al-Badr, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs; and Ambassador Nasser Al-Hin, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, along with members of the diplomatic mission.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and the official delegation accompanying him departed New York City in the United States today, following his chairing of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly. Greeting His Highness at the airport were Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, and Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna.

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, sent a congratulatory message to Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, conveying his sincere congratulations on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day, and wishing him continued health and well-being.
