Hamad bin Isa: His Highness Leads Benevolent Efforts to Strengthen Joint Gulf Action

Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in the strong fraternal ties and close historical relations that bind it to Kuwait, which grow stronger and more distinctive amid mutual commitment to enhancing and developing them across all fields. The Bahrain News Agency reported that this statement came during the King’s reception of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif, who came to pay respects to the King on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom. Sheikh Fahad conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, along with his good wishes for continued development and prosperity for the Kingdom and its people under his wise leadership.

During the reception, King Hamad welcomed Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif and conveyed his greetings and sincere best wishes to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, wishing him good health and happiness, and expressing hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kuwaiti people. The King praised the pioneering role played by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait in supporting and developing the distinguished Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, as well as Kuwait’s honorable stance toward the Kingdom of Bahrain and its benevolent efforts to strengthen joint Gulf cooperation. He highlighted the high level achieved by fruitful Bahraini-Kuwaiti cooperation and joint coordination at all levels, particularly in the security field, which serves the common interests of both countries and reinforces their entrenched fraternal ties. He emphasized the importance of continuous consultation and coordination between the two brotherly nations, especially in light of the delicate circumstances currently witnessed in the region.

For his part, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the King of Bahrain for the warm reception and generous hospitality, and conveyed his profound pride in the King’s efforts and constant commitment to strengthening the distinguished historical ties and consolidating fraternal cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, commending the honorable fraternal stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of the Bahraini monarch.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif, also held talks in Manama with Bahraini Minister of Interior First Marshal Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on ways to enhance security cooperation and the latest developments in regional and international arenas, contributing to supporting security and stability and advancing the trajectory of joint Gulf security cooperation.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that these discussions took place during the Bahraini Minister of Interior’s reception of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which stems from the entrenched fraternal bonds and close historical relations between the two brotherly countries. The statement noted that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif affirmed during the meeting Kuwait’s steadfast support for the Kingdom of Bahrain in facing any threats to its security and stability, based on the historical relations linking the two countries and their peoples.
