Industry: Announcement of the winners of His Highness the Amir's Award, 28th current

The Public Authority for Industry announced that it will reveal the names of the industrial establishments that won the Amir’s Award for Industrial Excellence in its seventh edition on Monday, September 28, at a ceremony held under the high patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard him. The Authority reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to creating an attractive environment for Kuwaiti industries, enhancing factory performance, and motivating citizens working in the industrial sector to launch initiatives and achieve excellence. It added that the ceremony will be attended, on behalf of the Amir of Kuwait, by Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Industry; Shamalan Al-Jahdali, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Industry; as well as a number of industrialists and officials from Kuwait’s industrial sector. The event will feature a documentary film about Kuwait’s industry and factories, followed by an awards ceremony honoring the winning establishments and the judging panel. The Authority noted that the Amir’s Award for Industrial Excellence was launched in 2002 and has achieved success over its previous six editions, aiming to promote a culture of excellence in organizational performance, foster competition among Kuwaiti industrial establishments, and familiarize them with administrative and technological developments. It further stated that the award encourages industrial institutions to measure their current performance against global best practices, adopt policies of continuous improvement, and promote national products.
