The Al-Burqan club delegation is heading today to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the IHF Men’s Club World Handball Championship, which kicks off tomorrow in the New Administrative Capital and will run until early October next year. The tournament draw placed Al-Burqan, the Asian champions, in Group B alongside German side Fuchse Berlin, Egyptian hosts Al Ahly, and the winner of the preliminary match between Hungarian Veszprém and Australian Sydney. Group A features Spanish club Barcelona, Moroccan club Mouloudia Club de Fès, Brazilian EC Pinheiros, and the winner of the preliminary round between Egyptian Zamalek and American Los Angeles.
