"The Authority" Announces "Global Grassroots Coaches" Tomorrow

The Public Authority for Youth and Sports will reveal details of a new project to develop age-group categories in football during a press conference to be held tomorrow. The initiative involves bringing in international coaches to work with under-12 teams at Kuwaiti clubs, as part of a strategy aimed at enhancing player development in the early stages. During the conference, Bishar Abdullah, Deputy Head of the Sports and Youth Affairs Sector at the Authority, will outline the project’s objectives and implementation mechanism, along with the criteria used to select coaches, the participating clubs, and the nature of the training programs they will oversee. The project aligns with the Authority’s broader focus on youth football and the development of age-group categories, leveraging advanced coaching expertise and experiences to prepare players, thereby contributing to the formation of a new generation equipped with the technical and skill-based foundations necessary for progression to higher age groups.
