Industry Authority prepares to announce winners of His Highness the Amir's Industrial Excellence Award
The General Industry Authority is preparing to announce the names of the industrial establishments that have won the Amir’s Excellence in Industry Award in its seventh edition. The announcement will take place during a ceremony hosted by the Authority on the morning of Monday, September 28, 2026, under the high patronage of His Highness the Amir of the State, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad. Attending the ceremony on behalf of His Highness the Amir will be the Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdulaziz Nasser Al-Marzouq, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Industry Authority. Also present will be Shamlan Hamoud Al-Jahdali, the Acting Director General of the General Industry Authority, along with a large number of industrialists and officials from the industrial sector in Kuwait.
The ceremony program includes the screening of a documentary film highlighting the journey of Kuwaiti industry and factories. This will be followed by the Minister honoring the industrial establishments that have won the award, as well as recognizing the judging panel participating in the seventh edition.
The Amir’s Excellence in Industry Award was first launched in 2002. It has achieved considerable success over its previous six editions and has contributed to embedding the concept of excellence within Kuwaiti industrial establishments.
The award aims to promote a culture of excellence in institutional performance, foster a spirit of competition among Kuwaiti industrial establishments, and introduce them to the latest administrative and technological developments. It also encourages industrial institutions to measure their current performance against best global practices and adopt a policy of continuous improvement, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and supporting the promotion of national products.

The award is part of ongoing efforts to create an attractive environment for Kuwaiti industries and improve factory performance.
