Al-Jaber discusses regional and international developments with Portuguese and Maldivian counterparts

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber met with Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Federal Council and Federal Councillor for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, as well as discussed the latest regional and international developments.

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber also met with Paulo Rangel, State Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly. The meeting included a review of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various sectors, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments.

Furthermore, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber met with Airothisham Adam, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly. During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and avenues for enhancing and developing them in various fields were reviewed, alongside discussions on the latest regional and international developments.

Minister Al-Jaber also received Nikolay Mladenov, the Special Coordinator for the Gaza Peace Council, at the Permanent Mission of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly. According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the efforts of the Peace Council aimed at achieving security and stability, as well as regional and international initiatives to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
