Christensen ruled out for Barcelona

Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen will be sidelined for several weeks after being diagnosed with a thigh injury yesterday, following the club’s 3-1 away victory over Sevilla. The 30-year-old was substituted in the 59th minute after sustaining the injury, allowing him to watch his team preserve its perfect start with seven consecutive wins from the bench. Barcelona issued a statement saying, “Christensen will be out for several weeks, and his return will be determined based on the progress of his condition.”
