Al-Jaber discusses the fate of missing persons and Kuwaiti property in New York

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber met with Mary Yamashita, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for the implementation of Security Council Resolution 2792 (2025) on the follow-up of the file concerning missing Kuwaitis and third-country nationals and the return of Kuwaiti property, including the National Archives, at the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the meeting discussed efforts aimed at achieving tangible progress in the search for missing Kuwaitis and third-country nationals, determining their fate, and recovering Kuwaiti property, including the National Archives.
