Two Planes for Al-Ahli Fans... Al-Yousef Praises 'Zain' Support

Kuwait Football Association (KFA) Chairman Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef praised the substantial support provided by Zain Kuwait and Badr Nasser Al-Kharafi, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Zain Group, to sports in general and to the KFA in particular. Al-Yousef noted that the KFA and Zain have arranged two flights to transport fans to attend the “Blue” team’s match against the Saudi national team in the 27th Gulf Cup (Gulf 27). The trip, which includes match tickets and transportation, will be offered at a symbolic price to support the “Blue” team in a manner befitting this major Gulf event. Al-Yousef commended Zain, stating, “At every sporting event and occasion, we find Zain and its board of directors among the first sports supporters, a contribution that helps develop sports in general.” The KFA had previously announced, in collaboration with Zain, the opening of registration (today) via the association’s website for fans wishing to attend the “Blue” team’s match against the “Green” team in Gulf 27, which kicks off next Wednesday in Jeddah. The KFA clarified that there are two flights for fans with a combined capacity of 450 passengers, and that the conditions and requirements for fans wishing to attend the match will be specified. The association indicated that the trip will be offered at a symbolic price of 80 Kuwaiti dinars for business class and 40 dinars for economy class, covering round-trip flights, match tickets, and transportation. The KFA will coordinate with fans already in Jeddah to distribute their match tickets.
