The Embassy of the Republic of India in Kuwait, in collaboration with ARMS4U, organized a tree-planting event as part of the “A Tree in Honor of Mother” campaign, held at the Abaraj Towers park in the Adailiya area. The event was attended by members of the Indian community and representatives from various community institutions and associations. The initiative aims to honor mothers as well as “Mother Earth” through tree planting, thereby bolstering efforts to protect the environment, support sustainable urban spaces, and contribute to greening Kuwait. Indian Ambassador Paramita Tripathi explained that the “A Tree in Honor of Mother” campaign was launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 5, 2024, on the occasion of World Environment Day, and has since spread across India and several other countries, including Kuwait.
