Assistant Assistant Commissioner General of Public Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Hamad Al-Munaifi, emphasized the importance of continuing work, raising readiness levels, and enhancing coordination between operations rooms and field forces, in order to contribute to maintaining the security and safety of all. This came in a press statement from the Ministry of Interior during Lt. Gen. Al-Munaifi’s inspection of operations rooms at the Directorates of Security, Civil Defense, and Emergency Police.
In the sector of Security Directorates, he was received by Sector Head Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Omar. Lt. Gen. Al-Munaifi reviewed the sector’s tasks and procedures and listened to a detailed explanation via a visual presentation covering work mechanisms and the role of the operations room in monitoring field activities and coordinating among the security directorates. He also followed up on security measures implemented in conjunction with the return to schools to enhance student safety and secure school premises and the roads leading to them.
Lt. Gen. Al-Munaifi also inspected the operations room of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, where he was received by Director General Brigadier General Mansour Al-Hushash. He reviewed the progress of work and readiness levels, met with security commanders, and listened to an explanation regarding coordination mechanisms, handling various reports and emergency cases, and ensuring rapid response.
The inspection also included the operations room of the General Directorate of Emergency Police, where he was received by Director General Brigadier General Haqqooqi Hamlan Al-Hamlan. He reviewed the mechanism for receiving and routing reports and met with security commanders to monitor readiness levels and the speed of field response.
The Ministry of Interior stated in its press release that Lt. Gen. Al-Munaifi commended the efforts made to maintain security and respond swiftly to reports.
