Digital ticketing system for the 27th Gulf Cup

The Gulf Football Association has launched a digital ticketing system powered by Safe Tix technology for the “Gulf Cup 27” tournament, which will be hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from September 23 to October 6. The initiative, implemented in collaboration with the local organizing committee, is part of the association’s efforts to enhance digital solutions and elevate the fan experience.

In a statement issued the day before yesterday, the association explained that the ticketing system offers advanced levels of security and ease of use. It allows fans to manage and transfer tickets via mobile phones and enter stadiums using this technology, which relies on a dynamic QR code that refreshes automatically. This feature strengthens protection against forgery and unauthorized use, including the misuse of screenshots, while enabling ticket validation at stadium gates without requiring an internet connection.

The statement added that each fan can book up to six tickets for a single match, with the option to select which matches they wish to attend during both the group stage and the knockout rounds. Fans can also purchase tournament tickets through the association’s official website or the “GFF Tickets” app, and add the tickets to their mobile digital wallets, providing a seamless digital experience that spans from ticket purchase and management to stadium entry.
