Philip Morris International Releases 2025 Value Report Under the Theme "Change Continues"

Philip Morris International (PMI) released its 2025 Value Report, which provides a comprehensive overview of the company’s approach to creating sustainable value across various global markets. The report marks the culmination of the company’s 2025 Roadmap, highlighting progress made toward the ambitions set in 2020, and unveils the “Value 2030+ Plan,” which will guide the company’s journey toward sustainable growth in the coming years.
In this context, Jacek Olczak, Group CEO, stated: “For over a decade, Philip Morris International has been driving a pioneering transformation in the industry away from traditional cigarettes. This transformation is not limited to product development; it extends to capital allocation mechanisms, engagement with shareholders and stakeholders, and the development of success metrics. Our slogan, ‘Change is Constant,’ reflects the reality that this transformation is not a project with a fixed end date, but a continuous process of development, innovation, and adaptation that maintains our position and resilience. We are constantly evolving because markets are changing, science is advancing, stakeholder expectations are growing, and new opportunities are emerging. This is our identity: a company in constant motion toward a better future, refusing stagnation even as we celebrate how far we have come.”
Throughout 2025, Philip Morris International demonstrated significant global progress across several areas, including sustainability initiatives, operational performance, and the continued expansion of its smoke-free product portfolio, while maintaining its focus on responsible business practices and engagement with partners and stakeholders.
Anjiej Dabrowski, Vice President of Philip Morris International for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, said: “The 2025 Value Report provides a comprehensive and integrated view of the company’s strategy, management, performance, and future expectations, particularly regarding key sustainability issues. For the Middle East region, the report connects global progress with the efforts we are leading at the regional and local levels, demonstrating that the transformation journey undertaken by Philip Morris International delivers real value to adult consumers, partners, and communities alike.”
The 2025 Value Report is complemented by a series of “Stories of Impact,” available on the company’s website at pmi.com, which highlight real-world examples of the impact of the company’s initiatives across various global markets. Having concluded its 2025 Roadmap, the company achieved tangible progress in 2025 in both product impact and operational footprint. The company’s “Business Transformation Indicators” provided stakeholders with clear, measurable metrics on its progress toward a smoke-free future. These indicators go beyond traditional reporting frameworks to track unique aspects that distinguish the company’s continuous movement toward change, including:
- The number of adult consumers of the company’s smoke-free products reached approximately 43.5 million globally.
- Philip Morris International’s smoke-free products are available in 106 markets.

These indicators aim to enhance transparency and provide stakeholders with a clearer understanding of the company’s ongoing transformation journey.
In this context, Jennifer Motz, Head of Sustainability at Philip Morris International, stated: “We have defined six strategic priorities that reflect what matters to our stakeholders and our business: consumers and the health impact of products, the circular economy, climate change, nature and biodiversity, our workforce, and workers throughout our value chain. All of these have been integrated into the Value 2030+ Plan.”
Motz added: “The Plan identifies key intersections between our practices and business requirements, ensuring that our initiatives deliver tangible results across various types of capital.”
