Interior Ministry Conducts Expanded Security Campaign in Cooperation with Municipality and Food Authority

The Ministry of Interior, through the Directorate of Security Affairs of the Al-Hawalli Governorate, in collaboration with the Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, carried out an extensive security campaign to bolster security deployments, apprehend wanted individuals and violators, and enforce the law. In a press statement, the Ministry said the campaign resulted in the arrest of 122 wanted persons and violators, the implementation of 195 security deployment measures covering detachments, checkpoints, and fixed security posts, the issuance of 547 traffic violations, the seizure of five wanted vehicles, and the issuance of 62 warnings and removal notices for non-compliant vehicles. It added that the campaign also led to the removal of 47 abandoned vehicles, the provision of 34 humanitarian assistance cases, the issuance of seven violations for smoking in enclosed places, the recording of 44 violations and reports by the Municipality, the issuance of 14 violations by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the destruction of 12 kilograms of adulterated food products.
