Washington urges its citizens to "reconsider travel" to Saudi Arabia
The U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued an advisory recommending that U.S. citizens “reconsider travel” to the Kingdom after Riyadh issued air travel warnings in Mecca and other areas amid Houthi attacks. The embassy’s statement warned of “the risk of targeting U.S. interests by Iranian-made drones and missiles, armed conflict, terrorism, travel restrictions, and local laws governing social media activity,” adding, “Do not travel to the border with Yemen due to the terrorist threat.”
