Al-Yousef: Be sincere in serving the nation
Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef witnessed the swearing-in of 14 female graduates from the Women’s Police Force after completing the 11th mandatory course for civilian university graduates at the Police College in the State of Qatar, as part of the first scholarship program for the Women’s Police Force to that institution.
In a speech during the graduation ceremony, Al-Yousef emphasized that the oath is a responsibility and trust that demands sincerity in serving the country, strict adherence to the law, and the protection of everyone’s rights. He noted that members of the Women’s Police Force are partners in fulfilling the security mission.
He congratulated the graduates on their graduation and the administration of the oath, wishing them success in their professional careers in service of the nation, and commended their outstanding achievements, which reflect the capabilities of Kuwaiti women and their commitment to the responsibilities entrusted to them. He urged the graduates to translate the knowledge and skills they acquired into field performance characterized by competence, discipline, and effective interaction with the public.
Following this, Colonel Adhari Al-Saffa, Director of the Women’s Police Institute, read the appointment decree for the graduates into the Police Force with the rank of Lieutenant. Colonel Rakan Fatima Al-Mutairi then administered the oath, which the graduates recited in the presence of the Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Lieutenant Manouh Al-Markaz achieved first place in her cohort and first place in physical training, while Lieutenant Rotaj Khamis secured first place in discipline, reflecting the excellence, seriousness in qualification and training, and commitment to military service requirements among members of the Women’s Police Force.
The Ministry stated that this scholarship program represents an addition to the trajectory of the Women’s Police Force by preparing scientifically and practically qualified cadres to perform their duties in maintaining security and serving society.
Attendees at the swearing-in ceremony included Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, Assistant Deputy Minister for Supported Security Services Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi, and relevant security leadership.
