Al-Rayyan loses to Bosnian RK

Bahrain Club lost to the Bosnian side RK Borac 27-30 in their third friendly match yesterday, as part of their current training camp in Bosnia, in preparation for upcoming handball commitments. Bahrain Club had previously played two friendly matches during the camp, and will conclude their preparations with a fourth match scheduled for next Wednesday, before returning to the country on the 20th of this month. The club is using the Bosnian camp to prepare for their historic participation in the IHF Men’s Club World Championship, set to take place in Egypt’s new administrative capital from September 25 to October 1. A Bahrain Club delegation is scheduled to depart for Cairo on September 23 to finalize last-minute preparations before the tournament begins. The draw placed Bahrain Club in Group 2 alongside Germany’s Füchse Berlin, Egyptian hosts Al Ahly, and the winner of the preliminary match between Hungary’s Veszprém and Australia’s Sydney University. Bahrain Club secured their spot in the Club World Championship after winning the Asian Club Championship title for the first time in the club’s history last June, marking a historic achievement.
