The Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities announced the launch of 10 new e-services via the “Sahl” app, aimed at streamlining procedures and saving time and effort for persons with disabilities and their caregivers, while enhancing their access to the Authority’s services, in line with the state’s push for digital transformation and the improvement of government service standards.

Dr. Khalifa Al-Hila, Deputy Director General of the Medical, Psychological and Social Services Sector at the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities, stated that the launch of the new services is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to develop its e-services and elevate the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, enabling a number of transactions to be completed electronically with ease.

Al-Hila explained that the new e-services include requests for letters to reduce working hours for persons with disabilities and their caregivers, requests for “To Whom It May Concern” certificates, and the issuance of certificates, including disability and caregiver certificates, as well as booking medical committee appointments and renewing certificates.

He added that the services also cover pension applications for persons with disabilities, requests for hearing aids and wheelchairs, requests for fingerprint exemption, and applications for traffic license plates, thereby enabling beneficiaries to complete these transactions electronically without the need to visit the Authority in person at each stage.
