Cooperation protocol to enhance school and educational sports

The Ministry of Education announced today the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Public Authority for Sports, the Kuwait School and University Sports Federation, and the Ministry of Higher Education, under the patronage and attendance of Minister of Education Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai and Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma. The agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation, support school and educational sports, and develop sports programs and activities targeted at students.

The signing of the protocol comes within the framework of the three entities’ commitment to unify efforts and activate partnership in the sports and educational fields, thereby contributing to elevating the standard of school sports and enhancing student participation in sports activities and programs.

The signing ceremony is scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. in the VIP Hall of the General Secretariat Building of the Ministry of Education, attended by several officials from the participating entities. The protocol aims to establish frameworks for cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Education, the Public Authority for Sports, and the Kuwait School and University Sports Federation, supporting the development of school sports and strengthening their role in shaping students’ personalities and developing their athletic skills.

The cooperation also includes enhancing sports programs and initiatives targeted at students, providing an encouraging environment for discovering and nurturing athletic talents, as well as supporting participation in school and educational sports events, in line with the state’s directions to support youth and sports.
