Kuwait: Gaza is an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian land

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of statements issued by two ministers in the Israeli occupation government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, citing their blatant violation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and their flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s firm rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people, calling on the international community and the Security Council to uphold their responsibilities in countering any efforts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territories. It stressed that such proposals undermine international efforts aimed at achieving peace, foremost among them the comprehensive plan by US President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza, which included a firm rejection of forced displacement, and warned of their serious repercussions on the prospects for achieving security and stability in the region. The ministry also affirmed that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territories, emphasizing the necessity of preserving the unity of the Palestinian land in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. It further reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s steadfast and supportive stance toward the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
