Saudi Arabia and Germany establish a strategic dialogue
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, discussed the current situation in the region in Berlin, emphasizing the importance of securing international waterways and ensuring freedom of maritime navigation, as well as the necessity of restoring the Strait of Hormuz to its normal state, thereby enhancing regional security and stability and maintaining the smooth flow of international trade. The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two governments to establish a strategic dialogue at the foreign ministers’ level, aimed at strengthening consultation and coordination and developing bilateral relations across various fields.
