Trump 'Happy' About Prince Harry and Meghan's Departure from America

US President Donald Trump expressed his happiness at Prince Harry and his wife Meghan leaving the United States, after their return to the United Kingdom to settle there indefinitely. Trump told reporters at the White House: “I’m happy about that. I was not a fan,” adding, “My relationship with the Queen was very good. A very good relationship with King Charles; he is a wonderful man. I thought they treated the royal family with great disdain. I did not like that. I did not like her behavior. I thought she was extremely disrespectful to the Queen and to King Charles.” He emphasized that if he had the decision-making power regarding the British royal family, he would not have allowed their return or welcomed them back into the ranks of the family, a clear reference to his disapproval of the couple’s behavior in recent years. Harry and Meghan returned to Britain on August 28, more than six years after stepping down from their royal duties and moving to the United States. The couple remains outside the list of working members of the royal family since 2020, and it is not expected that they will be assigned any official duties.
