Saudi Crown Prince and Sultan of Oman discuss efforts to preserve regional security

Jeddah – Agencies: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq on developments in the region and the efforts undertaken to preserve its security and stability. During the meeting, which took place in Jeddah on Tuesday evening when Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the two sides reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries, areas of bilateral cooperation, and promising opportunities to enhance and develop ties across various sectors. The Oman News Agency reported that Sultan Haitham bin Tariq paid a special fraternal visit to Saudi Arabia, during which he discussed with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman the trajectory of the entrenched fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to develop them across different sectors. The agency added that the two leaders exchanged views on the latest developments regarding major current issues and solutions capable of achieving de-escalation and peace, to ensure the safety of states and peoples and to safeguard their economies and interests.
