«Affairs»: Raising the Kuwaitization rate in cooperative society jobs

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour announced the opening of 45 job opportunities for Kuwaitis across 15 cooperative societies, in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower. Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs and Cooperative Affairs, Dr. Syed Issa, stated that this step is part of the ministry’s efforts to support the employment of national labor and strengthen the presence of Kuwaiti expertise in the cooperative sector. He added that the launch of these opportunities aligns with the ministry’s direction to provide suitable jobs for citizens based on the actual needs of each cooperative, as well as the required specializations and qualifications, thereby contributing to higher levels of Kuwaitization and leveraging national cadres to develop cooperative work. He clarified that registration will take place via the Fakhranah platform for national labor, operated by the Public Authority for Manpower, from September 2 to 16, in accordance with the conditions and regulations governing the advertised positions. He reaffirmed the ministry’s continued coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower and relevant authorities to open additional job opportunities for citizens in the cooperative sector, enhancing the participation of national labor and reinforcing the principle of equal opportunity in employment.
