Al-Hawila: Providing Services and Keeping Pace with Population Growth
Kuwait’s Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, and Social Development, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, and the acting governor of Al-Jahra and Al-Farwaniya, Hamad Al-Habshi, inaugurated yesterday (Thursday) the first central market of Al-Mutla Cooperative Society in the N8 district of Al-Mutla city, to serve the local residents and meet their needs for essential services and goods.
In a press statement during the inauguration, Al-Huwail emphasized that the opening of the central market follows direct directives from the political leadership, aiming to provide the best services to residents of Al-Mutla city and modern residential areas, thereby meeting their needs and keeping pace with the country’s population growth. She noted that the Ministry of Social Affairs is working according to an integrated plan to complete the service infrastructure in modern residential areas, which includes cooperative societies, family care and social development centers, and wedding halls, all contributing to providing essential and social services to residents.
Highlighting government cooperation, Al-Huwail explained that service provision in Al-Mutla city is carried out through integration and collaboration with various government entities, alongside continuous monitoring to identify and address residents’ needs. She affirmed that the opening of additional central markets, branches, and services will continue in the coming phase. She congratulated the residents of Al-Mutla city on the opening of the central market, noting that the next phase will witness more projects and services that enhance the level of services provided to the population.
For his part, acting governor Hamad Al-Habshi praised the government efforts to provide comprehensive services to citizens, particularly in the cities of Saad Al-Abdullah and Al-Mutla. He confirmed that the coming phase will see the completion of more service projects in collaboration with relevant authorities, aiming to meet the requirements of Al-Jahra governorate residents, provide them with comfort, and improve the level of services offered to them.
