US Stock Futures Rise

US stock futures rose after Nvidia’s positive quarterly results renewed investor enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, as investors awaited the Jackson Hole economic conference for clues on the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy path. Futures on the S&P 500 index rose 0.3% to 7,710.75 points, while futures on the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 0.5% to 29,442.75 points, and futures on the Dow Jones index edged up 0.2% to 53,628.00 points. Nvidia shares rose nearly 5% in after-hours trading after the world’s largest company reported quarterly revenues more than double those of the previous year, while data center revenues surged 117%.
