Gulf Bank announced the launch of its Back to School and University campaign for the new academic year, combining student activities, financial literacy initiatives, and support for children from low-income families, as students return to in-person learning after a prolonged period of remote study due to geopolitical developments. The campaign includes a series of entertainment and artistic events, such as workshops for coloring and decorating school supplies, along with competitions and valuable prizes on social media platforms, aimed at facilitating students’ integration and motivating them at the start of the academic year.
The campaign kicked off in collaboration with Fun Tiki Center in 360 Mall, where Gulf Bank organized a children’s event featuring workshops on “decorating school supplies,” “coloring pictures,” “cutting and pasting,” and “science shows,” attended and participated in by the mascot of neo, the bank’s children’s account.
In the context of its long-standing strategic partnership with Kuwait Achieve, the bank plans to organize field visits to several schools to introduce students to the importance of saving, enhance their financial literacy and awareness, and support the diverse programs offered by the association and backed by the bank. These programs include training and entrepreneurial initiatives that prepare students for the labor market and strengthen their leadership skills.
The bank will also participate in several university fairs and exhibitions dedicated to welcoming new students, where it will showcase its banking services and products specifically designed for youth, such as the red account and the red plus card.
As part of its ongoing efforts to support the national “Let’s Be Aware” campaign, Gulf Bank’s team will deliver financial literacy lectures targeting students, encouraging them to save and raising awareness about the risks of financial fraud, thereby fostering a culture of financial awareness from an early age.
Additionally, the bank is collaborating with the Red Crescent Society and the “Bashta” initiative to distribute school bags and contribute to covering school expenses for children from low-income families, reflecting its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable segments of society.
Furthermore, the bank will produce a number of awareness videos aimed at psychologically preparing children for their return to school, ensuring a healthy and balanced start to the academic year.
The Back to School and University campaign is part of a series of community initiatives implemented by the bank throughout the year, including support for education, promotion of sustainability, and contribution to social activities that serve various segments of society.
Gulf Bank places great emphasis on empowering youth through its training programs and entrepreneurial initiatives carried out in partnership with its strategic partners. These efforts were crowned with the bank receiving the “Best Product for Generation Z” award at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026, in recognition of its youth-oriented banking services.
