Why can't people agree?

Why can’t people agree on appreciating this individual, whether he is an artist, a businessman, an official, or any other public figure, even if God has endowed him with good character, charitable deeds, and other noble traits? Ask why? The answer is that human beings are not alike in disposition. After we exclude the first group—the majority who fear God in their judgment of others—we are left with the second group, composed of the resentful, envious, and hateful. As soon as this public figure writes or utters a word, these individuals launch unjustified attacks, deliberately twisting his words to mean the opposite, creating an opportunity for them and those like them to attack him. In doing so, they reveal their hidden malice without realizing it. With such a despicable nature, they will never be able to shed this trait. May God protect us and you from the evil of those afflicted by it to the extent that they begrudge praise and even choke back their tongues so that no word of thanks for any good deed performed by this individual ever escapes them. It is worth noting that many of these people live among us, particularly in Arab countries, to the point where this trait has become a hobby they practice as athletes practice their daily exercises. ****** Wishes that are difficult to realize, yet I hope that those who interact with people using such behavior will avoid it, to protect themselves from human reproach and curses in this world, and from punishment in the Hereafter (hypocrisy, gossip, lying, betrayal, theft, bullying, tribalism). ****** The wolf eats from the lawful provisions of the poor, yet when they wake up from their slumber, they praise him like they praise someone with millions in their pocket, while insulting some people and honoring others. ****** O God, protect Kuwait, its people, and its leadership from all evil and harm.
