Kuwait and Sudan: Strengthening Relations and Serving Common Interests

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber held talks with Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohiuddin Salem on ways to enhance and develop the fraternal relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples across various fields, in a manner that serves their shared interests. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting was held on the occasion of the Sudanese minister’s official visit to Kuwait, along with his accompanying delegation, noting that both sides reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional developments and the efforts made to address them. It added that the discussions covered ways to support security and stability in the region, and to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries on various issues of mutual concern. At the conclusion of the meeting, Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber hosted a luncheon in honor of the Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and his accompanying delegation.
