From August to February and vice versa!
In this same month in 1990, our country was subjected to a treacherous aggression, paved by lies and speculations about a Kuwait-US conspiracy against Saddam’s Iraq. We later discovered the Iraq-Contra scandal, i.e., Saddam’s secret conspiracy with America—not Kuwait’s. To this day, after all these years, no “Kuwait-Contra” scandal has ever been revealed. As usual, the aggressor raised the shirt of the Palestinian cause, while the Palestinian cause remains innocent of it. No one harmed that cause more than Saddam did through his actions. Alongside this, he raised anti-Israel slogans for mere provocation, while the damage fell squarely on us. That tragedy, or farce, ended in the following February—just six months later, no more.

Last February, a major and highly dangerous problem began to unfold in the Gulf. Unlike the 1990 catastrophe, which affected only one branch of the sprawling Gulf tree, this aggression and damage struck the entire Gulf tree and all its six branches. As in 1990, false claims were made alleging a Gulf-US conspiracy against Iran this time, without any evidence or proof, exactly like Saddam’s claims. We remember the Iran-Contra scandal, but there is no “Gulf-Contra” counterpart. Alongside this, anti-Israel slogans were raised, while 90% of Iranian missiles and drones were directed at Gulf states. The shirt of “victory for the Palestinian cause” was raised again, even though the Palestinians are the greatest victims of any wars fought in the Gulf and the region. This time, we have reached the sixth month of the disaster, and the crisis is still in its early stages, not its end, as was the case with the previous crisis. I do not see any near-term solution on the horizon, no matter what optimists may say.

Last point:
1. Most likely, the objective of the ongoing grand game is to damage the remarkable Gulf achievements built on the western bank of the Gulf by targeting them with lies, missiles, and drones. Therefore, we must exploit the brief period of calm to prepare for the worst through unity, mutual support, and closer Gulf cooperation. Our combined air, naval, and land forces, along with the support of allies and friends, are capable of repelling most of the damage.
2. On the eastern bank of the Gulf, the grand game is underway to create another North Korea in West Asia, based on four pillars that would create a parallel between the situations in East and West Asia. Three of the four pillars have already been realized: first, severe internal repression; second, constant tension with neighboring regions and the international community; and third, the transformation of governance into hereditary republics. The fourth pillar remains—acquiring nuclear weapons. We expect Iran to announce its acquisition of nuclear weapons as part of upcoming escalation steps, which will begin with Iranian hardening of demands, particularly concerning complete control over the Strait of Hormuz. This will be followed by major US military operations against Iran and Iranian military operations against Gulf states, ending with the visibility of Iran’s atomic dust. It will be claimed that circumstances necessitated increased enrichment for producing atomic bombs, and that a fatwa of prohibition was issued by the former Supreme Leader, and that the current Supreme Leader or his senior clerics ruled that necessity justified its permissibility. After that, new rules of the game in the Gulf will begin.
