Indonesia seeks agreement with the Gulf

Indonesia is seeking to conclude trade talks with the Gulf Cooperation Council by November 2026, aiming to secure broader market access while the government pushes to expand car exports, according to Trade Minister Budi Santoso. Santoso clarified, “We hope the talks will conclude by November at the latest, granting Indonesian products greater access to Gulf markets,” according to the Indonesian news agency Antara.
