City signs goalkeeper Roli
Argentine goalkeeper Jerónimo Rulli has joined English club Manchester City from French side Marseille, the two clubs announced yesterday. Rulli, 34, who has earned eight caps for the Argentina national team, joined Marseille in 2024 after leaving Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam, and has now signed a two-year contract with City. He will serve as the second-choice goalkeeper at the English club, behind Italy’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, the former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper. Rulli previously joined City in July 2016 but did not make any appearances for the team before being loaned to Spanish side Real Sociedad six months later.
